I'm going to hit the gym, then might shop a bit. I'm getting over a cold that I've been fighting for 2 1/2 weeks now (my goodness!), so I'll be laying low this weekend, then heading north to see the parents for a few days. Take care and enjoy your "carb day" :)

Hi, Marty! So I've been a little slow getting back to Smaller Indiana, but thought I would get back to you nevertheless. If the slow part is any indication, I'm keeping busy (that whole working full time and doing my master's degree full time is a bit much - you might know about that work/school juggling act). Congrats on your upcoming graduation!! I'll be done next May, which I'm sure will be here before I know it. =) What is your master's in?

I've been doing the legwork on starting up a non-profit geared towards helping orphaned and underprivileged kids in the Indy area. When you have a few minutes sometime in the next week or two, maybe we could have a quick lunch or something, compare notes, and see if we can help one another. Hey Marti, I have a long way to go before I get my MA. Probably Spring 2011 or 2012. I have 5 years to finish the program and I am taking one class at a time. Sean is a good man, he just helped me with the set-up for a Visual Arts event I am hosting on Saturday. Glad you are in the final stretch, can't wait to get there in 2-3 years. :)
I am rather unspecific right now. My publishing job is my dream job, and I came from an advertising background ... was a copywriter/producer for 20+ years. My skills are in writing, video and audio production supervision. I would really like to get something in the video writing and editing area, or really something where I am interacting with and serving people. I am sort of wide open, but I know that doesn't help me set a goal. I think I am searching for something that is satisfying but I don't know what that is yet. And I need to get some income generated of course!
