Thanks! I'm enjoying getting to know you on Twitter as well. One of these days I'll actually make it to a Tweet-up.

Scott, I was glad to meet you at the SI office the other day. I mentioned it to Mark Kesling. By the way, I love the Dream Big song that plays on your page!

I posted a blog about words that make me cringe and at the top of the list for me are:
Nosh
Crunk
Bling
Erectile
and several others.
What are yours and why? Are these awful words or just too trendy and overused? Please take a look when you get a chance I value your opinion!

I agree: file that under "Weird." How about we meetup sometime in the next couple of weeks?

Besides, we're all grown-ups.

That post originated on the American Values Alliance and was picked up by Bil at Bilerico and then by The Daily Kos. If you'd like to let people know, feel free. Bil and others aren't being shy!

Social circumstances are, indeed, impacting our ability to network and work together. When we can speak more fully and frankly about these and many other issues, our business (and personal) communities just get stronger.

Best,
Lalita

Scott, I know you'll love BJ's place, B-Java. Be sure to tell her I said: "Hi." Also, hope you enjoyed the piece on Bilerico. I was on a passion-filled roll.

Hey Scott~

KIB is looking to attract some faith-based groups to a meeting related to our NeighborWoods program (100K trees in 10 years). If you're interested, send me your email, and I'll pass the invitation along...

Hi Scott,

Yes, he's been doing some great work there, creating that legal program. He's been given the go-ahead to start contacting lawyers in the area to create a roster of attorneys who will provide legal services for BOI students, either pro bono or at reduced rates. It's something he's come to feel pretty strongly about.

He's on Smaller Indiana as well; when you get a chance, drop him a comment and let him know your thoughts.

Another Serendipitous moment! I am on The Garden Marketing Team and I just spent over an hour talking with Richard Ramsey about the benefits of social media. While on Richard's SI profile there is your pic. I said, "I have never met Scott but I already love his style." Even more that you know Richard!

I've been meaning to ask your help on getting the tag cloud like the one above. I couldn't quite work it out to use it for Stark Reality. Maybe we should get together for a cup of coffee at a place with WI-FI so you can show me how to do it. Hubbard & Cravens on Carrollton is a favorite of mine.

Yes that was me in the IBJ. I hadn't really thought about barter as a topic, but if something occurs, will be sure to post.

1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
