Sounds like a great idea, if you need help with the site I am just down the road. I am pretty over budget on non paying jobs at this point but it sounds like a great project.
Hi Johnnie, My apologies for the tardy reply. Life has been a bit hectic for me. I am in the process of looking for a new job because the one I had now ends on June 22! It is an exciting time for me, but also a bit scary, since I have no idea what I am going to do next. Looking forward to getting to know all of you better soon. I did not attend the meeting on May 30, but I hope it went well. Diane

Chelly
Johnnie, Hi! Thanks for your welcoming. Attending the Indiana Small Business Fair will happen. Not only, it's a professional and impressive looking website. I will need to peruse the blog site suggested by Kristen. I'm planning to start one of my own very soon.

I grew up in Indy, so this is a literal and figurative journey home. It surprises me--I miss my friends, but I really don't miss LA. You know, you can take the girl out of the Midwest, but you can't take the Midwest out of the girl! There's a lot to be said for friendly people, realistic insurance rates and reasonable traffic.
This site is rockin'. I have serious work to do, figuring out what groups to join and events to attend. What a great resource for a newbie.
Hi Johnnie, thanks for the welcome message. We are already in the process of putting our website together, working with the guys from Indy Mojo. Check it out and please feel free to offer critique. www.restorationindy.com
The first phase is nearly complete, we'll add pages as time allows.
Thanks for reaching out and making new members feel welcome. We have been absolutely overwhelmed with new members lately, and it is hard to keep up and make sure everyone is greeted.
It really builds the community when lots of folks take on this task!
Thanks for the message! For one client, a 3D modeler, we advertised with CGW and Post as well as GoMotion magazines. But for the local companies, we have worked with IBJ.
Thank you for your welcome message. I wouldn't mind talking with you further regarding your business and successes. I'm hoping to connect to more people through Snaller Indiana. I have already met so many wonderful and creative people by going to the on-site events.
A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account
2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo
3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.
If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

I focus mainly on event photography, like weddings, parties and such, but I love to shoot just about everything!
