Hi Angela,
I'd like to give Janus Development a call this week. Is it alright if I use your name when I do? I'll be calling Christina Horn who is VP of Development unless you think I should be talking to someone else.
Hi Angela, I would love for the group to come out. Best time is late July and August when all the veggies and herbs and eat sweet corn right off the stalk. Weather is warm too. Lets stay in touch and I would love to come to one of the group's gathering to meet everyone. When planning a gathering here....we will post a list on how to dress...very relaxed and good walking shoes for the walking paths. Stay in touch. It is a honor to part of the group. Shel
Thanks for the welcome Angela! I'm looking forward to it, too. And I'm glad to share more about Heart Link - I'm so excited about it!
The Heart Link Network is an amazing networking event created specifically by and for women! Heart Link is a perfect setting for everyone to do more than hand out a business card...you'll find yourself conversing, connecting, and really networking with a group of like-minded women.
It is a non-membership group, meaning you can come when it works for you and you simply pay as you go. This also means that each month there will be an interesting mix of people who have attended before and those who have not. The cost of each Heart Link event is just $20. Be one of those people who "come linked" (with a new-to-the-network friend) and it's $30 for the two of you!
Attendess come with business cards, brochures, flyers, or any samples that will showcase their business. After our informal networking meal, we will come together as a group and each attendee will have three minutes to share the highlights of her offerings. Remember that women network differently than men...we are not together to grab business cards and go home...we want to connect, learn, share and grow...and ultimately help each other get the business we deserve! Referrals come naturally for us, so we always pass on what we learn to others we know who need what YOU have!
Attendees at each event are industry-exclusive, so we truly have the opportunity to "shine" during the event. And each attendee will be provided with a roster with all business and contact information for all attendees so we can be prepared to support each other through direct business and referrals.
Ok - a little lengthy, but hopefully answers a lot of your questions! Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any others...
Hi Angela, this is wonderful! I assume the group posts events, location, date and time of monthly gathering? I would like to offer our sustainable farm for a retreat place for the group. We have a 17 acre sustainable organic vegetable herb, and fruit farm where we have 2 miles of easy walking paths with streams along the paths. We have a moderate size covered gazebo and moderate size front porch great for outdoor gatherings, tree house and bon fire area close to our home. Three bathrooms. Everyone who visits never goes away empty handed with fresh picked corn, squash and herbs. The energy is wonderful here and we are 5 minutes west of state road 37 in Bloomington. Our dearest friend Jeff Meese and neighbor who has 77 acres across street has 20 water buffalos, pigs. Jeff owns express pizza, lennies (upscale eatery here) and bloomington brewry. We usually have joint gatherings so everyone can go back and forth between the properties. I look forward meeting everyone, networking and empowering each other. Shel
Good morning Angela, I look forward to meeting all of you in the near future. Does the organization have a website? I looked and did not see any. Where do you meet, dues? Shel
Thanks for the invite - I just read my message. I do travel some for business, but would like attend the meetings if at all possible.
Please keep me informed!
Thanks,
Deborah
Last night we (Midwest Organic Coffee) had a coffee tasting to introduce our three new organically grown coffee to the Marion public. We had 21 people stop in to taste the coffee and many stayed to visited four hours. Your husband being a true coffee lover would appreciate these new coffee. The hit of the evening was Kenya French Mission Bourbon. We are hoping that at some point we will have a venue over that way to do a tasting. They are a lot of fun. If you would like to gather friends and do a road trip for real coffee, drop us a line we would love to set up a private tasting for your group.
Thanks for the welcome.. i wish I could make the meeting, but Tues. are my "Hell" day I work from sun up to sun down. Thanks. Have a good time at the meeting
I was not able to attend the Chocolate Blues Festival. Was it a good one? There are so many networking events I wish I could attend but there are only so many hours in a day.... I try to sleep a few of them! I was looking at the Women Entrepreneur page but how does one join it? I could not find anythig there but a brief description.
Thanks Angela! We aren't really very wild but we do get some wild kids once in a while! It's ok though; they are just having fun (well, most of the time). :j
Hi Angela...thanks for the welcome to SI...I'm sure we've met in the past at networking events...perhaps BusinessWomenConnect or a chamber event. Looking forward to reconnecting!
