To celebrate my day of mourning 2009..aka my birthday
I decided to indulge my grief and depression with all the foods I’ve successfully cut out of my diet. Allow me to explain. Back in 2006, I dropped from 317 lbs to around 238 lbs, or I went from size 44 pants and xxl/xxxl shirt to a tight 36 pants and large shirt. What happened after that can be summed up with one phrase..I F@#k up!! What I hadn’t realized was that I had cut back too far on my calorie intake. This was causing me to be exhausted. At the time I attributed this to my job and life style. What I did was swung back the other way and began to over due my calorie intake with fast food. It took almost 3 years but I had successful ruined one of my greatest accomplishments. How do you gain back 80 lbs? Easy: fried foods.
Back to my day of trying not to cry.
What I decided to do was to eat fried foods all day long. My thinking was this would make me happy, and my body could take it. I began my day with a early morning breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes, sausage, and eggs..(Shout out to Trell for the treat). After an 8 hour nap I went to lunch and ate a pork tenderloin sandwich and fries. After watching UP in 3-d. I indulged with a Oreo overload at Cold Stone, and than finished up with a 2 piece meal at Popeye’s fried chicken.
So how did I feel after all that? I really..really..really wanted to do this

What should you learn from my experience?
It is an amazing experience to go from craving those foods to wanting to shove a vacuum cleaner down my throat and removing everything from my stomach that I had just put in. Meaning I was sick.
Think about what you are eating and how it affects your body. For me the $4.00 value meals caused high blood pressure, cholesterol, and I’m fat again. Which means more money on clothes, it hurts my knees to run, and I can’t play the sports I enjoy because I’m way too slow.
The next time you have a choice between a $4.00 fast food meal and a slight more expensive health meal. Stop and think about how much you are really spending. And always go healthy. Your body will love you for it.
