Kids Say the Darnedest Things

Jack was coloring a picture this week and told Suzi that his crayon was broken. After trying again and getting frustrated, he again reiterated that his crayon was broken. Upon investigation, she found the problem....it was a white crayon on white paper. lol

And now for the audience participation part of our program

If you have about three seconds, would you mind answering this quick question from my Linked In profile:

I hope everyone who received the free baseball tickets from My Car Doc last week enjoyed the game!

Automobile Trivia

Did you know the first toll road in America came before the first car? In 1792,the first United States toll roads are opened in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

Janice Joplin sang, "O' Lord, won't ya buy me a Mercedes Benz" but did you know it was the first car offered for sale? The Benz Patent Motorwagen first went on sale in 1887 (and only 8 years after Karl Benz stole Nikolaus Otto's design, but that's another story).

The world's first ever car race was held from Paris to Rouen, France in 1894. It was won by a Panhard-Levassor with a Daimler engine, which was later disqualified for not having the required four seats. Sigh....cheating right from the beginning! lol

The first automobile insurance policy is purchased in Westfield, Massachusetts in 1897.

I'd like you to meet:

Deanna Mitchell with PS Woodfield Crossing. If you're looking for a great office with a fantastic location but just don't want to spend a lot of money, contact Deanna. She has all sorts of plans available to help share office space, rent out conference rooms only when needed or simply pay for a couple hours at a time. There are lots of incredible ways to help businesses and especially start-up businesses save a lot of money, but still have an office in a prominent location.
