I just have to share this great video relating to Zappos customer service and core values. For example, here are just a few ideas--- Zappos offers free shipping both to your home and for returns. They require every employee to experience the call center and the shipping center, no matter who you are (atty, accountant, executive, etc.). They want their brand to be Customer Service.

If you are looking for some ideas on how to improve your customer focus, watch this. I warn you it is 30 minutes, but it was well worth the watch.
