Making people and ideas findable

My first show of the 2009 IndyFringe Season. So many good choices. We opted for "Gone, Gone, Gone" at the Earth House. And before I talk about the program itself, let me give kudos to the venue. Located in an old church a few blocks off of Mass Avenue, it is worth the walk!

The cafe on the first floor was a wonderful gathering place before the show, and if you get there in time, do sample the Blueberry or strawberry smoothies.

The upstairs theater has a large stage, which is gave the performers plenty of room to move around the stage. The choreography extends from their feet to their faces and has the performers moving in rhythm with the help of masking tape and paper towels.

Promising dance, comedy and performance art, this program delivers on all three. Gone, Gone, Gone is a classic tale of boy meets girl, boy annoys girls, boy loses girl and eventually wins her back.

After the performance was over, dancers Monica Rodero & Daniel Schuchart came out to thank the audience. Monica said most serious dance audiences feel uncomfortable laughing at dancers. She was glad we did, and hoped we would tell our friends, to come and do the same.

So if you are planning on attending Fringe performances, make time for this one. Be prepared to enjoy the dancing, and be prepared to laugh!

There are plenty of performances left. Be sure to add this one to your schedule.
