Chargers Replace Patriots As Monkey On Colts Back

Ouch! I respect the San Diego Chargers but I hate when the Colts have to play them in either the regular season or in the playoffs. Tonight, certainly, was no exception. Coming in to the game, the Colts were supposedly the hottest team in the NFL by winning their last nine. But clearly the Chargers are definitely the hottest team in the league; they were 4 - 8 but won their last 4 to get into the playoffs. And now they've knocked off the Colts. Congratulations to them!

For years, the "monkey" on the Colts back were the dreaded New England Patriots. But now, it has to be those dreaded San Diego Chargers. I'm sure the NFL schedule makers will match these two teams up yet again next season. Oh, joy!

I agree that some of the penalties were questionable in a critical part of the game. However, all the Colts had to do was convert the 3rd and 2 late in regulation and game over. But the sack was costly.

We had the Chargers handled. The officiating was the worse I have ever seen. There were so many bad calls against the Colts. There was no way they could have won. This isn't sour grapes. I would have said the same for any game.

Let's see if the same thing happens to the Giants. If so, the leauge just doesn't want a Manning in the Super Bowl.

Go Miami!!!
