Chocolate Blues!

I am one of the gazillion ppl on Smaller Indiana that can't wait to attend Chocolate Blues. Between all the free passes going around, the opportunities to purchase tables and advertising there, it seems that the only event anyone wants to talk about is Chocolate Blues! lol However, that very fact goes to show the amazing amount of networking Shelly Rice, Eric Kallin, and others have done promoting this thing. I mean, if you hear ppl talk about it, this is going to be a KISS concert, Bill Clinto… Continue

7 Unique and Surprising Things About Me...

However, my middle name is Choice and the only other person I've ever met with that name is my Grandfather. 3. I played on the basketball and soccer teams as a YOUNG child. That's… Continue

Musical chairs...

Hey everyone, I have a bit of a situation. My mother-in-law is moving to town. Stop laughing, that's not the big problem. :) The problem is that she has a lift chair that she really likes. She wants to me to go to N. Carolina and get it and bring it back up here. I think I've finally got her to realize that the sheer cost of transportation (fuel, meals on the road, et cetera) will be as much as the chair is worth and that I can simply buy her a new one once she's here. So now I've got to put my… Continue

The Joy of Children

I was just reading Lynn's post "The absolute JOY of a child" and I HIGHLY recommend it if you hadn't read it already. In that blog, she is going for a walk one morning when she comes across a small child enjoying his trampoline. The absolute fun that he is having prompts her to think about herself and how life has changed since she was "trampoline age" lol. It got me to thinking mostly not of "what happened to the fun me?" but more of how I've had so much fun being an adult because of my kids.… Continue
