Happy 4th!
Rain nor sleet nor snow nor....well, okay, maybe no sleet or snow, but we had rain. However, the 4th is my favorite holiday of the year. and our neighborhood was definitely in the spirit. Drizzling rain dampened our bodies, but not our spirit, so we still had a great show. Poor Lee was camping in the mud all weekend. Ugh!

Hey everyone, I have a bit of a situation. My mother-in-law is moving to town. Stop laughing, that's not the big problem. :) The problem is that she has a lift chair that she really likes. She wants to me to go to N. Carolina and get it and bring it back up here. I was just reading Lynn's post "The absolute JOY of a child" and I HIGHLY recommend it if you hadn't read it already. In that blog, she is going for a walk one morning when she comes across a small child enjoying his trampoline. The absolute fun that he is having prompts her to think about herself and how life has changed since she was "trampoline age" lol.
