I would adore to come but I have a prior engagement that night that I cannot skip. Maybe I can make it in January.

There's always been lots of talk about great burgers. Let's get down and serious about it now. No restrictions, but lots of criteria. We need descriptions of WHY it's a great burger.

I will likely not be able to make it after all. Since the wreck last week, we are down to one car now and John's working nights so he has it. I was really looking forward to attending. If I can find a way to get there, I will.

Looking up

Even though today is Sunday of a holiday weekend, I received a call from H & R Block and they want me to return to the fold. I haven't worked for them since before I moved up to Indiana but have wanted to return for quite a while. It seems that I have steady work ahead of me which is really great. That's the best news I've had in a very long time.

Just thought I should share my sudden good fortune.

Introduction

Hello everyone! I am hoping that by joining this group I can network my way into a job and career. I have years of experience in all areas of office work and management but my primary skill set is in accounting.

Many of you know me from my love of theater and occasional work as a reviewer for The Daily Reporter in Greenfield.

I really hope that I can use this resource to further my professional and personal goals and I look forward to getting to know all of you here even better.

Have you spoken with HR there to work out a way in which you can get your degree. They may work something out with you.

I will let you know if I hear something open.

Best wishes!

Wendy,

Welcome to Smaller Indiana and congratulations on becoming a SMOOSIER. I wanted to send a personal invitation to let you know how excited I am that you have joined. One question: Why do you love Indiana? How could it be a better place to live, work, and play?
