Hi scott! Everyone had some great solutions to help you with the Annual Report your trying to create. I agree with Erik, write your copy in Word, but definitely do your design layout in InDesign and don't forget to check your photos in Photoshop...

Hey Stephanie,

Business just got started. That is why you haven't heard from me yet with jobs for you. I took some time to clear my head and make sure I knew what I wanted to do. Lets chat on the phone sometime soon. I see you are ditching the freelancing and looking for a full time spot?

Stephanie:

Just a quick note to let you know that I'm bringing a life sciences conference to town. I was hoping you might share this announcement with others who might find attending this event of interest.

It's called Documentation and Training Life Sciences and it takes place June 23-26, 2008 at the Union Station Crowne Plaza in Indianapolis. Smaller Indiana members qualify for a $300 discount off the price of attendance. Educators can get an even bigger discount.

I have a flyer I can send you via email that you can send to folks who might be interested. Let me know if you can help me spread the word locally.

Thanks in advance.

HFF - The Game of Change

I love basketball, so when a story like this appears, I find it hard not to watch. Personal stories of sacrifice and hardship are always great storylines. That's why this one was no different.

The Game of Change, I believe didn't just chronicle the racial discrimination happening in our nation or college basketball, it went a little deeper than that. It showed how one man's ideals and convictions, changed a university and a town along with it's people. This man started a chain of events that wo… Continue

HFF - Life of a Child

Going into this documentary, I wasn't really sure what it was all about. I didn't read the brief explanation to give me some insight on what I might be seeing. I wanted to keep it that way. No ill conceived prejudices or judgements on my part going in to view it.

Life of a Child is about the continuing struggle with a disease that is killing more people today than HIV or AIDS, it's Diabetes. I was struck by the stories of three young children living in India so poor that they can't afford insul… Continue

HFF - Captain Abu Raed

Complex, intertwining, funny, and intense just a few words to describe Captain Abu Raed and yes, there were subtitles.

Filmed in the country of Jordan in 23 days with a budget of 2 million, this is a masterful film crafted out of the idea that not all Arabs are what's depicted in the news or by our own judgements. This is a movie that shows how everyday social issues affect everyone, even those living in Jordan.

It's a beautiful film depicting one man's journey of being an introverted, isolated… Continue
