I agree with Craig's recommendation on June 10 for the Nikon D40. It's a great entry level camera with lots of options to build upon. It's got a built-in flash but can accomodate a speed light flash and comes with a good lens but different lenses ...

Recently I've created a 12 Subject Photoshop course for Photographers, and thought it would be something of interest to you. The course is 3 hours, 1 on 1, and you receive a handbook to go along with the course. Customizing the course by Subject is also possible.
