@Robby- I agree, I don't think they will either. Most know my view on it, but I think it ultimately will remain the choice of the company paying for the service. I think it is important that brands understand the debate that surrounds ghost bloggi...

I would be interested in knowing a little more about the overall blogging effort- are you working your blog as part of an IMC strategy? What other social media tools are you currently using and how are you using them? I took a look at the Easter S...

I'll take a guess (with the standard disclaimer that this isn't legal interpretation or advice) and say that a ghost blogger would probably be regarded as an agent acting on behalf of a client. It would also be the client who would have the endors...

Funny, I wouldn't say that I am burnt out at all on social media. Will it go away? Probably not. Will it evolve and change? Most definitely.

Why join Smaller Indiana? What are you hoping to experience here ?
I am eager to meet and network with others who have a passion for whatever it is they do in life. I hope that I can share helpful information as well as locate helpful information when needed. I think it is important for everyone to realize that we are in a transitional period right now where we are literally re-inventing (to borrow the GM tagline) the way business is done on a global level. For that reason, our current economic status seems more optimistic to me. I hope to share that vision and help others become active in this re-invention as well!

I'm back- finally!

After a short hiatus from SI, I have finally returned! I have been focusing a lot on social media campaigns for a few clients that, quite frankly, left me uninspired to do much for myself in that area.

A lot has happened since I was last on. My baby, Anderson Creative Solutions, has joined both the Anderson and Alexandria Chambers of Commerce. We are also about to relocate the ACS office to a space at Ridge Crossing Auditorium on the SS of Anderson. I needed an office space and not a store-fron… Continue

Attention paid bloggers...

From the Federal Trade Commission: "The revised Guides also add new examples to illustrate the long standing principle that “material connections” (sometimes payments or free products) between advertisers and endorsers – connections that consumers would not expect – must be disclosed. These examples address what constitutes an endorsement when the message is conveyed by bloggers or other “word-of-mouth” marketers. The revised Guides specify that while decisions will be reached on a case-by-case… Continue

Add me as a friend. It sounds like you are having fun with your new venture.. I wish you great success. As for marketing my services I rely on word of mouth advertising since I cannot do too many jobs at one time being a one person company. Your blogs are well written and enjoyable.
