Hey! What have you been up to?
Not sure if you are aware, but I am in search of greater opportunities. Ha! That's enough business, in another light, how have you been?

Hey Matthew, the Cage Match just ended up as a green screen. you can see it if you search it. Let me know when you see it and then I'll delete it from this site. Thanks.

Hi Matthew! I finally got around to adding my listing. Thanks for telling me. I am now working at Oxygen Education, but I am always looking for other opportunities.
Nice kittys!

That's another great reason to be in one of these specialty networks -- people you know are on them. Take dogster, for example. My wife knows the dogs and their walkers in our area. They actually have meetups and 'dog shows'! Technology can be great for connecting to people, but it's so much better when they already are, or become REAL people! (Um, unless they are stalking you)

I pretty much abhor myspace and facebook. As you know, I really dig last.fm. I think it is because it restricts the pool to people that I might actually be interested in listening to or reading about. I'm sure there a bunch of great people on the big two social sites, but last.fm gives us all something to talk about - the music we are listening to, and the bands we love. Smaller Indiana seems to be the same kind of site. It allows a small group of people who already have something in common - we're all Hoosiers! It tastes like FaceBook, mixed with a bit of LinkedIn and just a dash of Craigslist thrown in.
The good potential of this Smaller Site is boundless. Those other sites? Nearly worthless to me. LinkedIn could be amazing, but it's clear they want your money. Twitter has potential, too.

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
