Thanks Lynn - your insight is helpful.

It helps me get a better understanding of the prospects I call on. Knowing what a business "does", is critical providing a solution.

Hi Lynn,

I met with Jayne today about Morty's Comedy Joint's quest to go green, and she pointed me in your direction. We are having a GREEN GIGGLES week June 4th-7th and are looking for different companies and organizations to host the shows by giving brief presentations to our 300+ audience about what they can do to help the environment and their wallets. I would love to have you come out and speak one night and hand out copies of Indiana Living Green. Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you,
Margaret Medly

Lynn, nice mention in the IBJ this week. Sorry you weren't in the focus. I have a blog post I am getting ready to publish about insurance paying for green building upgrades. Can I email you so you can critique it from a point of understanding my insurance speak? I want to make sure I am getting my point across correctly.

Sadly, I now see Indianapolis was ahead of the curve on the Carson film and it screened here on March 12 -- and I missed it. I hope you were able to see it.

I thought of you when I saw this site re: hosting a screening of "A Sense of Wonder" (Rachel Carson). Don't know if you're interested but it's a nice tie-in to the great work that you do.

Traders Point is a place Lena has given me, she has already made a contact with them about us. No about all of the others you have suggested. If you have more contact information on those or would like to help in anyway with introductions, that would be a great help.We are getting some great suggestions of contacts. Now we need the time to work them. Thank you for your help. Suggestions are always welcome.

Lynn,
There are a few guys out there currently using organic fertilizers here in Indiana and you can bet they will be talking about it at the flower and patio show. However its just not as simple as switching the fertilizer on your turf to a 100% organic product. This needs to become a plan and each property is different. The ultimate goal both for the environment, budget and appearance is to build the landscape/turf so that it can self sustain. To explane that, would take some time on my part do to my typing skills. I would be happy to give you more info over a phone call, because there is quite a bit to it. Purdue speaks about this as well. It takes time, money and understanding to get there however its necessary and doable.
A few of the practices I have in place is using clean landfills, new equipment which in the last 4 years have become much more fuel efficient and cleaner burning. Spot treatment for pesticides and broad leaf applications when possible. The list goes on and gets bigger yearly.
The GBL that I spoke of is The Green Business League. I understand that there is a certification that's out there to become a consultant???
Hope this helps.
