We have been down to Patoka the last 3 years and like hitting Holiday World when down there. We particularly like http://www.patoka.com/resortamenities.html When down there, be sure to check out the 2 awesome hotels in French Lick and Marengo Cave.

Are you Reacting, remaining Rigid, or Responding?

When I go to the Y for a workout I am always multitasking by listening to my iPod. I heard a great little podcast today by Zig Ziglar. I love Zig's humor and attitude. When faced with a situation, a change, a down economy, etc...how do you handle it? By reacting, remain rigid or respond.

Some people just react to the doom and gloom as if they have no control. They react naturally with little thought. The just 'are'. A ship without a rudder, at the whim of the sea, the wind, just going with the… Continue

Should our government fund abortion?

The ending of an innocent life is wrong, no matter who pulls the plug. Children, even unborn, are a gift and precious. I understand they are a huge responsibilty and many ladies who get pregnant are not able to care properly for a baby. There are alternatives - adoption, bec… Continue

Hi Kirk, glad you will be attending the Chocolate Blues networking event. You asked for suggestions........I have two. First, bring at least 500 business cards so you can be a part of our giant business card exchange. Next, this event is huge, so be sure to allow yourself plenty of time! By the way, we have most of our vendors in place already, but we don't have a security company yet. Would you consider being a vendor? In 6 years, I've never had a single unhappy vendor. No pressure, but I appreciate your consideration.

Hi Kirk,
Nice family!
I just read your interest in Power Factor correction. Felix and I work together on energy projects and I have the equipment to which he refers. I have equipment for residential and commercial. We also have equipment that does quite a bit more than just power factor for the right location, electrical load, and electrical configuration. If you are interested, contact me.
