Drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death among children ages 1 to 14.

Fellow Smoosiers,

Did you know that children can drown in as little as one inch of water? Being a member of the International Assoc. for Child Safety and running my Indianapolis based childproofing businessfor the past 8 years, I have learned about too many accidental child drownings.

My mission is to prevent these and other child injuries and deaths. Today I wanted to specifically share some water safety tips.

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account
