What is your greatest strength?
I have a very amicable personality and I enjoy making people laugh and enjoy their day. I have experienced the highs and lows of customer service and the professional style to handle both happy and disgruntled customers.
What are you working on?
I am currently working on a novel/short story called 'Ava Becoming'. I have about six chapters so far and I can't seem to stop writing at times. I'm not sure if I will ever get it published but for now it's a fun side project for me. I would like to be a creative writer or even a book reviewer. I am trying to sink my feet into both.
How big is your business?
Self-employed

What is your Personal Website?

What is your alma mater?

Why join Smaller Indiana? What are you hoping to experience here ?
I have joined Smaller Indiana because I would like to create a network with people who share similar interests. I am currently looking for a career switch and I am hoping I will find a better suited job for myself through SI.

Looking for volunteer or part time work....

My name is Juliann Whitfield and I have recently been partially laid off at my current job. At first I thought I would enjoy having two days off a week, although not happy about the pay cut. I have since learned that I am so bored that anything would be better than having those two days off a week.

I currently have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off during each week and I am open to volunteering and helping out other SI individuals. I live in Shelbyville so commuting to Indianapolis or my surrounding… Continue

Audacity for Stupidity

Just to vent about young, uneducated women having babies.

We went over to a friend's house a few weeks ago (we'll just refer to this friend as "A" and their other friend as "B") when another of their friends stops by.

Friend "B" just had a baby and they both just got released from the hospital. Her daughter was born with an upper respiratory infection and had to remain in the hospital an extra five days to clear up the infection. As she enters our common friend's house, she asks repeatedly tha… Continue

7 Random Things about Me

Here are 7 random things about me that you probably never would want to know but someboday has asked me already. I thought I ought to share. Once you read you are supposed to complete the randomness yourself and tag another lucky 7 people.

1. My youngest brother is nine and a half years older than me. I know I wasn't planned but that's okay, the best things come last! Andy was the brother I pretty much grew up with. I have two other siblings; another brother, Kurt, and a sister, Kris. Living wi… Continue

I was told at I-74 and Post Rd exit there is a little Mexican place and a Wendy's; would you like to have lunch at one of those? I have to be on the North side of Indy twice on the 2nd, so could we do the 1st, 8th, or 9th - just a bit less driving for me.

Juli, I would love to meet with you. (and if you're still looking for volunteer/part-time work, I might have some ideas that are up your alley). I have some time tomorrow afternoon or Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday afternoons next week. Let me know what is good for you. You can use SI or email me Choosing-Change@Brooke-Randolph.com

I ran. Alot. That way I wouldn't gain any weight during the madness, and it helped get my lungs breathing deeper again. You know, big part was also that I became pregnant, and I couldn't picture my baby''s umbilical cord restricting with each inhale I took, so that was enough to help me stop. But ultimately, to stay stopped, it was pure will-power. Plus, it started to smell nasty.
