If you are open to outsourcing to Indy-based software development firms, I can facilitate several introductions. I also know of a couple of companies that provide contractors for hire.

A Tale of Two Divergent Indiana Towns

Let’s compare and contrast Warsaw, IN and Martinsville, IN. Both have populations of ~12,000. Martinsville is not quite a suburb of Indianapolis but is within 45 minutes of downtown. Warsaw has been identified as “isolated geographically” and is ~1 hour from Fort Wayne and ~2 hours from Indy. Warsaw is the Orthopedics Capital of the World and is home [...]

Verizon Wireless Knows Their Market

In early 2009, Verizon Wireless overtook AT&T as the biggest U.S. wireless carrier with its $28.1 billion acquisition of Alltel bringing their total subscribers to more than 80 million. This well-planned acquisition has done great things for Verizon: increased revenue, favorable treatment by equipment vendors, potential exclusivity from cellphone makers, and conceivably cheaper pricing on [...]

We Need Your Input On An Airway-Related Medical Device

Creo Quality is working with a physician on a new medical device idea that aids in mechanical ventilation. We are conducting a feasibility analysis to assess the market and are seeking feedback from EMTs, paramedics, respiratory therapists, ER physicians & nurses, ICU physicians & nurses, and other healthcare personnel responsible for maintaining patient airways. If this [...]

Mr. Morrison is with Purdue University and founder of I-Open. Tom Zoss and the Community Foundation of Morgan County have graciously offered [...]

Is High-Speed Rail The Answer For Warsaw?

Have you heard of Warsaw, Indiana? If not, I’m guessing you are likely not in the medical device industry. Warsaw is regarded as the Orthopedics Capital of the world. I came across a post from Ed Morrison titled “The Midwest High-Speed Rail Initiative” and was reminded of a recent article talking about the importance of high-speed [...]
Creo Quality, headquartered in Indiana, was originally established to assist life science organizations with product development, quality systems, and project management needs. As Creo Quality's list of clients and contacts grew, it became apparent that there were a number of organizations requiring not only tactical assistance, but more importantly strategic assistance.

Life sciences is an area receiving a great deal of attention these days not only in Indiana, but throughout the United States. As such many organizations believe having a strong life sciences presence is critical to their success. While numerous not-for-profits, government agencies, and tactical service providers are helping bring greater visibility to the local, regional, and national life sciences landscape, they are not utilizing a holistic approach. In order to address this unmet need Creo Quality recently shifted its focus to providing strategic solutions that look at the entire business operations rather than just individual tactical needs.

Hey Pal,

I usually find this site to be very useful in sparking creativity on those slow days...at least visually speaking.
