Hi John,
Welcome to Smaller Indiana! As a new member you may want to start by reading the blog post: "I'm a member of Smaller Indiana, now what?" It provides some great tips on getting involved in the community.

Feel free to add a blog post, join some groups (more than 400 are listed on the Smaller Indiana Group Links google doc) & have fun!

What is your greatest strength?
I'm an idea person. I love to brainstorm a topic in any area and find innovative opportunities. I’m an avid follower of the Maker and DIY communities. In my leisure time, I love to tinker, experiment, explore and create. On weekends you will likely find me doing Maker projects with my kids like home made hover boards, persistence of vision bicycle wheels, home-made soda carbonation, geodesic domes shelters etc.
What are you working on?
My partner and I have been developing a portfolio of ideas into actionable business plans. We call ourselves the IndyIdeaGroup. One of the business opportunities we have been working on is opening a Technology Prototyping lab that is open to inventors and Idea people like us. We are exploring several approaches including university and government partnerships, private venture capital funding or purchasing a TechShop franchise.
