Hi Mr. Sparks -

My wife, Wendy Jackson, remembered meeting you at Emmis Communications (she was Mr. Smulyan's personal assistant). You must have made a good impression, she had a lot of nice things to say about you. She passed on a job description you had posted for a digital media coordinator, and suggested I get in touch with you. And, you know, she's the boss. : ) So, here I am, asking for a meeting.

I recently left my post as VP, Interactive for a large ad agency here in Indy to start a company that does all the things you're looking to do for Heartland on the digital marketing front. I think we would be an excellent fit for Heartland, and we'd be able to offer you an entire team of experienced digital content producers for less than you would pay one person to execute your digital initiatives.

Our past experience includes online work for the IMA, Marsh Supermarkets, Hormel Foods, and several other large brands. One of the people on our team is a 3-time national Emmy award winning producer, and another is a part-time film critic. As you can imagine, we'd LOVE to work with you.

Would you be willing to let me buy you coffee or lunch to talk further about how we can help? I would certainly appreciate it. And, even if you decide not to use us, I can probably point you in the direction of some really good people to fill this role.

Thanks Jeff -

Hey Mr. Movies!

FYI - a friend of mine in New Zealand mentioned a movie she saw recently, which is an 08 release - called Second Hand Wedding http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1210359/
- is it on our list for the fest?

Also, my friend and I saw Get Smart in Chicago last weekend - needed Don Adams! :-)

Best,
Dave
