- What is your greatest strength?
- The frugality that was once a necessity has become a way of life, allowing me to stay home with my girls, enjoy life and focus on what is most valuable to our family. Because living a sustainable life is important to our girls and their future, I share ideas on reducing your impact on the planet in ways that also reduce expenses. I also seek deals for general household expenses and family fun to entertain my girls on a budget, then dish about our adventures on my personal blog.
- What are you working on?
- My first frugal site emerged in 2004 from a desire to share my savings with friends and family to help them fill food bank donations for my church’s Bag Hunger program. FeedIndy.com has been a fun project for my husband and I to work on together. It has truly been a labor of love for the last five years and I couldn’t be more thrilled to widen our focus, helping families across the country to live their lives inexpensively, with the new Inexpensively blog network launching this summer.

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account
2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo
3. Events should be posted in the events calendar
4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.
5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.
If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
