Maintenance Checklist Oct 18 - Oct 24

Need a testimonial before you’re willing to trust something? Here’s mine.

Now that I have established some sort of consistency with this blog, I feel that its time to make a confession: I was not born the aspiration or inclination to be the next Bob Villa. Or Christopher Lowell. Or . In fact, it wasn’t so long ago that I would’ve struggled to know the difference between a hot water heater and a water softener.

In other words, even though I had the resources and time required for home ownership… Continue

Maintenance Checklist Oct 11 - Oct 17

Have you enjoyed your home these past two weeks? Enjoying your well maintained home is essential to success. Its important to remember why we’re doing this. There’s no sense in working without a reward!

Maintenance Checklist Sept 6 - Sept 12

September is a great month. Technically it is still summer, but really, we're all unconsciously beginning to hibernate. Depending on where you live, you might be having you final cookouts for the year before you pull the grill into the garage, smoking enough meat to last all winter, going to a couple more baseball games, or simply enjoying the first specks of orange, red, and yellow as they dot the trees in the yard.

You've already invested a month in pro-actively taking care of your home and h… Continue

Weekly Maintenance Checklist: Aug 30 - Sept 5

Aaaaaaaaaaaannnddd heeere's September! (do me a favor and try to imagine it in the late Ed McMahon's classic voice so its not so corny)

The new month brings with it a change in seasons, a drop in temperature, and a new set of home maintenance tasks. Here's the checklist for this week:
