Before I was a composer, I studied opera and sang until age 35 or so. At age 27, I went to New York to visit a friend. As an opera singer, I had planned to make it to New York at SOME point in my life so I guess that 1984 was my time. My first day...

Absolutely! As a composer and songwriter, every moment is entertainment! That is, until I hit a brick wall...Writing and performing great music that is meaningful and powerful is all there is. Nothing else matters if I don't accomplish that. Ultim...

At Squish, we donate our services as much as our time allows. Because of this, it has led to paying customers, and it has really helped us gain a greater understanding of the needs of the community. BTW, we provide web services. I used to work at...

For me Smaller IN is a big example of this. While I do have commercial hopes for this community (i.e. I want to make money one day) the first year of running this site was purely volunteer. I was trying to help Indiana. Thanks to the popularity of...

Hi Darrell - I didn't really read your post as commercial either...

I do not have any musicians in our client mix, but I volunteer for the International Violin Compeition; does that count? :) I would enjoy meeting and hearing more. Please e-mail me, raquel@silversquareinc.com and we can set up a time next week or the week after. Take care.

Thanks Darrell - I plan to be there on the 20th unless something comes up.
The Lodge Studios is a client of mine. More than 50% of their work is from music publishers. They hire local musicians for all of the recorded music.
Andy Symons is the GM at The Lodge. You should get him your info.

Thanks, but I'm going to be pretty busy next week with the conference, so I can tell you now that it won't work for me to be at your meeting. But, like I said, keep me posted and if I can fit it into my schedule to help, I will. Thanks, Darrell.
