Chris,

Thanks for the message. My wife and I are expecting our first child in July, so I thought Dads Inc. would be a good educational resource for me. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in the coming months.

I bleed Orange! I am a season ticket holder and work closely with the VASF raising scholarship funds for students wishing to attend UT. I am actually listening to the Vandy game online since we cannot get it on TV! I will be in Neyland next weekend for Coach Fulmer's last game. What is your tie to UT?

Daddy Defense

I've debated on whether to write this post or not. I don't want to give publicity to the subject of this post. But the subject is just so sad and uninformed that I feel like I need to.

You see, the other day, through a contact on Twitter, I found a link to a blog called: Do Children NEED fathers?, whose author wishes to, "expose the myths pertianing to fatherless children through this blog. Children do not NEED a father, they nee… Continue

Anyone up for some Adult Kickball?

Hey, Smoosiers, I've been wanting to start an Adult Kickball League for some time now, and I just found out that there's a group already playing here in Indy. Would anyone be interested in joining a team or just coming out for a game? The first game of this season is Monday, April 20th at 6:00pm at Hohlt Park, located at W. 53rd and Annette Street.

If you think kickball is just for kids, check out the World Adult Kickball Association's site at www.kickball.com. It's a good way to meet new peopl… Continue

Are There Any Tech-Savvy Non-Profits?

If you've not heard of us, Dads Inc. is a Indy-based non-profit that works with dads from all different socieo-economic backgrounds (actually, predominantly middle class) to provide fun, education, structured activities for dads and their kids to participate in together in order to develop and grow the father-child bond. We completely give moms their props, but we're just trying to get dads actively engaged in child-rearing in non-traditional ways. We were founded on the Friday before Father's D… Continue
