My Presidential candidate is one that would challange Congress to balance the budget and begin paying down the debt in, say, five to eight years. Congress got us into this mess and Congress must get us out. David Walker (former?) comptroller general of the US has spoken out many times about our fiscal crisis but Congress does not listen. Dr. Ron Paul also has provided ideas as has Peter G Peterson. T.Boone Pickens has an energy plan, but again, will Washington listen. Thought! Why not ban all lobbyists from Washington for two years, while Congress and the various departments, work things out. Thomas Schroeder
