Thank you for your comments in SmallerIndiana on 5/3/08. Spoken as if I were speaking. My Presidential candidate is one that would challange Congress to balance the budget and begin paying down the debt in, say, five to eight years. Congress got us into this mess and Congress must get us out. David Walker (former?) comptroller general of the US has spoken out many times about our fiscal crisis but Congress does not listen. Dr. Ron Paul also has provided ideas as has Peter G Peterson. T.Boone Pickens has an energy plan, but again, will Washington listen. Thought! Why not ban all lobbyists from Washington for two years, while Congress and the various departments, work things out. Thomas Schroeder

I look forward to meeting people who are early adopters of new ideas. People who are open-minded, positive, forward thinking people that embrace new ideas as opportunities and not challenges. This is a great place for those people to come together and share their experience and visions for a better Indiana.

I also want to get together with friends I meet here have fun, a few drinks and dance once in a while. Nothing wrong with that, right?

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. We want to know the real you...Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. We want to know the real you...Please do NOT use your Smaller Indiana blog for blatant self promotion

3. We want to see your smiling face...Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

4. Events should be posted in the events calendar, not inside blog posts

5. Please do NOT post commercial video (demo reels), or Corporate Website promotions in your blog

6. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.
