Brett,

The SEED Conference was good. However, I was not impressed with the professionalism/business aspect of any of the speakers. I was really excited about seeing and hearing Jason speak too, but I was disappointed. And the start-up/business advice from Jason was totally the opposite of what I've been taught, read and experienced. Carlos rocked for sure - his work was incredible, but his attitude toward clients was a little crude I thought.

I guess I was also expecting something a bit different - maybe I was expecting to be able to take more away from the conference for the $400 I spent going to it (plus lodging). I went to an all day seminar last week (the speaker - Verne Harnish) called Mastering the Rockefeller Habits and it was incredible! best conference I've been to - probably ever... and it was FREE! Actually, a colleague sponsored a table and invited me, but I bet the table was $2500 for 10 people so it was still less than the SEED Conference.

Anyway, those are my thoughts on the SEED Conference... I could probably keep going, but I'll spare you. :)

When is a good time to chat about your current clients and projects and how we might be able to partner on future projects?

I'm interested in finding new partners in the web development and database arena. Have you ever worked free-lance for larger marketing / design firms?

To answer your question: I am not the creator of the Web Site just an avid fan. Pat Coyle and Douglas Karr can be credited for the creation of the site with the majority of the admin being done by Pat.

I wouldn't say a "LinkedIn" It is more of a platform to discuss how to better Indianapolis and the State. Whether it is technological, creative, economic, or just plain fun we want to hear about it! What are your thoughts? What do you love to do? What do you love about Indianapolis? How can we make it better? This is what Smaller Indiana is all about and we get coffee. So, we should probably get coffee!

Thanks Kyle. Are you the creator of this space? Is it positioned as a localized Linkedin?
