Speaking of adding images to blogs, does anyone have good resources for free low-res stock images? Thanks! (istock is the cheapest I'm aware of)

Did a post yesterday on how to protect pages with a login in WordPress. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks, Robby. I figured it out. The two photos I put in are within the article and I would like to put them in the left margin. I'm still learning.

Scott, there's an "image" button just above the space where you type the post. It's a little hard to see but you should be able to find it.

Here's a link which describes what to do. Note this is for an old version of WordPress so it may look a little different, but it should get you started.

Question: I have a photo on my sight that I want to post alongside the article. Can't figure out how to do it. Any help out there?

Hey wordpress junkies. I own a small design company in Anderson and am looking for someone who can code websites in wordpress. We use In Design C3 for our design creations - but are still learning the back end of actually building the site and bringing it live on the web. If you're interested in discussing possible contract work please contact me at tammy@communitynet.biz. Thanks!

I am new to blogging so I hope to gain valuable insight from those of you that have been blogging for a while.

My website uses a Wordpress platform. It was created by a friend of mine who does web design, Amber Davis from a design studio. Since it's creation I've done most of the updating, added widgets and SEO tricks. Love to find out more info here on ways of making it look better (the header needs some work), keeping it fresh and sharing what I learned.

check it out and let me know what you think: http://www.ndesignsmetal.com

I haven't upgraded yet but I noticed this posting under WP News (on my dashboard):
2.8 Plugin Compatibility

I only read the summary, but there are some issues with plugins and tags.

1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.
