Please forgive me for posting the same message in a few different Social Media groups on Smaller #Indiana. I realize this means some of you will receive the exact information a couple of different times, I'm sorry about that. Below is the duplicated message:

For those who want to mix it up with #Indiana's Social Media elite, you are welcome to join our luncheon Wednesday 12-30 @ 12:30pm @ Scotty's Brewhouse Indy Northside 96th Street location. Hello Fellow Social Media Marketers! I wanted to make sure each of you were aware of the "It's a Girl Thing" Christmas Shopping Event tomorrow evening 11/10. It is from 6:00 to 9:00 in the Village of West Clay Meeting House. We will have over 20 vendors there so you can get a great jump start to your holiday shopping. Sunshine Bakery will be there selling yummy (but not fat free;) baked goods and taking orders for Christmas cookies! All of the 20 vendors have made product donations with a minimum $50.00 value to our raffle. There is no admission fee to attend and raffle tickets will be sold for $2.00 each or 5 for $8.00, proceeds to benefit the National Alliance to End Homelessness. It is going to be a great evening and I would love to see your smiling faces there. I will be speaking at 8:00 and giving fabulous Holiday decorating tips. Make sure you come no later than 8:00 as we will be drawing for our raffle prizes right after my presentation!

Thanks for the input. It is a contest for all of my prospects and customers that order logo gear.
Duke Snyder Comment by Duke Snyder on October 20, 2009 at 3:10pm
RE: Ken Reinstrom promotion idea...unclear for me as to whether contest is for your salespeople, new customers or anyone in general. Whichever I have nothing better to suggest than the idea you have proposed to us.
I did check out the cooler and whomever your winner is will definitely be the "first in their block to have one" I'm sure lol. GL on your campaign.

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. "Blatant self-promotion" is discouraged on SI, and "spam" is not welcome. Please be considerate of your fellow members.

Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
