Making people and ideas findable

I am a chef starting a culinary experience in Broad Ripple. We only have Big Green Egg grills where all of our food is prepared...yes thats right, EVERYTHING we do is on the grill! We offer cooking classes, corporate team building events as well as private parties. I am interested in using local ingredients and am familiar with a few farmers markets, Traders Point Creamery, as well as Farm Fresh Delivery, but was looking for more options. Any suggestions?

See Ross Faris from Your Neighbors Garden 317-251-4130. He's the areas largest grower and distributor of locally grown foods. Check out Localfolks, Steve and Anita Spenser for some awesome varieies of mushrooms, etc. They are both at City Market. Local meats are available from Moody's Meats and Goose the Market on 25th and Delaware. Lastly, seek out Tomm England a Culinary Instructor who focuses on local foods with his students tengland@ivytech.edu.

There is a farmers' market every Saturday in Broadripple. The best blog about where to find local food is:

The group I am thinking of is Farm Fresh Delivery.

Please see Chris Baggott's note Where can we get locally produced foods? for ideas.

Jenna,
I own "Daina's Petite Pies". I make savory (dinner) pies using locally grown grass-fed meats and local produce. My pies are all handmade and frozen. They require about 40 minutes in the oven by the customer. I would love to sell them to you wholesale. I currently sell them in 7 farmers markets in the Indianapolis area and sell about 200 a week. Would you like me to bring some over and talk with you one day this week?
