Don't forget about Revelations Salon & Day Spa in Brownsburg, IN.....You might have seen some of their photos in the Hendricks County Flyer this week. They are a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon...and they ROCK!!!!!!

Thanks Julia and Becky - I actually tried Mars and Venus Salon in Brownsburg and was very impressed. However I will keep both recommendations in mind - a girl has to have options, right? ;o)

Hello Sassy Ladies! I wanted to make sure each of you were aware of the "It's a Girl Thing" Christmas Shopping Event tomorrow evening 11/10. It is from 6:00 to 9:00 in the Village of West Clay Meeting House. We will have over 20 vendors there so you can get a great jump start to your holiday shopping. Sunshine Bakery will be there selling yummy (but not fat free;) baked goods and taking orders for Christmas cookies! All of the 20 vendors have made product donations with a minimum $50.00 value to our raffle. There is no admission fee to attend and raffle tickets will be sold for $2.00 each or 5 for $8.00, proceeds to benefit the National Alliance to End Homelessness. It is going to be a great evening and I would love to see your smiling faces there. I will be speaking at 8:00 and giving fabulous Holiday decorating tips. Make sure you come no later than 8:00 as we will be drawing for our raffle prizes right after my presentation!

My husband and I have been getting our hair cut for several years by Elaine Koehring (538-4030). She has a great eye for hair design and is very attentive to detail. Elaine also does a beautiful job with color and highlights and does nails and waxing. She has her own private salon in Carmel at Sola Salons, off West Carmel Drive about a mile east of Meridian Street. I definitely recommend Elaine!

I'm looking for a new salon and thought this group would be my best bet for advice. The closer to the NW side of Indy the better, but I will drive for a great haircut.

I know my photo screams "I don't care about my hair", but it's all I had on short notice and SI made me take the photo of my puppy down. My problem with most salons is the stuffy, snoby aspect and/or the high pressure sales tactics to purchase additional salon services and their hair care products. Can anyone help?
