Friday night at Mickey's from 8-12..CW & The Working Class Trio (+1) the plus one is me. Very fun Blues/Rock band. Then...
Saturday morning is the big Labor Day parade. Lots of people are in it, all of the unions in town in fact. It's actually bigger than any parade in the year. It would be nice to see more peeps on the streets watching as the Cool Chilies roll by. Parade starts around 9:30 after all the political exhalations.

Okay, so I won't be at the Skylight this week. I'm penciling it in for next week though. I've got some great new songs to try out in public.

I'll be at the Skylight open mic on Thursday night in Lafayette doing some original music. If anyone's in the area around that time, I'd love to meet you and talk about music :) Feel free to contact me for more details.

Park Avenue Band will be performing at the St Rose of Lima's festival tonigt in Frnaklin fro 7-11. Come and hear some great arrangments of popular tunes from WWII to 2009. 9 pieces makes a big sound, but it's not too big to sit or dance in front of.
