December 7th 2008: Chicagoland Toys for Tots Parade Chicago, ILL
The Annual Chicagoland Toys for Tots Parade has become one of the largest Motorcycle Parade in the Country, held every year on the 1st Sunday in December ...rain, snow, or shine. There is only one rule to participate: You must bring a toy and deliver it on a motorcycle. What unifies the thousands of volunteers is their heart felt mission to place a new toy in the hands of a child.
The Chicagoland TFT Motorcycle Parade Organization works throughout the year distributing toys to children in need. Help put smiles on these kids' faces by donating new, unwrapped toys for children from infants to 16 year olds. We suggest baby toys, dolls, games, books, models, radios, calculators, sports equipment, etc... Please, NO STUFFED ANIMALS ... Click for *Toy Suggestions*
Just come to The Dan Ryan Woods on a motorcycle with a toy to donate...
There is no additional fee or cost, and there is no sign-in or registration:
Dan Ryan Woods (85th and Western ave) opens at dawn - Line-up starts 6:00am - Parade begins at 9:30am - riding northbound to end at the United States Marine Corp Reserve Center (Foster & Troy)..... See you there... Click for Route Map

Help

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. "Blatant self-promotion" is discouraged on SI, and "spam" is not welcome. Please be considerate of your fellow members.

Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
