Hi all-- Happy New Year to all of you! I have been a bike admirer for years; used to ride about 35 years ago-- been a long time, but into others things now. Currently I am a founder/director of a small non-profit that started in July of 2008 to provide re-entry services for formerly incarcerated women. MY SISTER'S PLACE is located on the westside of Indy, we have a transitional home for newly released women and will be starting a community garden in Speedway in 2010. Looking to hook up with someone to talk about doing a bike ride for a fundraiser. So many women get released and have to start all over (again!). They need support and encouragement and I am determined to find a way to get them back on their feet. I could use your help! Contact me when its time to get the bikes roraring and lets see what we can do to help these women in need! Thanks!

I would like to invite all of you down to the Suds on Saturdays for our Cruise-ins from 2pm to 10pm. I do not own a bike now, but I grew up with motorcycles since I was 3 yrs old. My dad was a professional racer in the 50's, his best friend had a Harley shop and they both grew up building Harley's and Indians from scratch in Madison, Wisconsin. I would like to honor my father who passed away 2 yrs ago and his best friend 12 years ago with this open invitation. Won't you join me?

I'm simply a passenger right now but would love to have my own bike someday. FYI: The Eagle Ride in Zionsville is this Saturday, starting at the Village Station on Zionsville Road. I can't remember what charity they're riding for, but I will be there pouring wine at the finish. Come out and support the cause!

Do you ride motorcycles? Join us. Do you know someone who rides motorcycles? Invite them to...

...join bikers as we Ride For Missions. The 10th Annual James Jensen Memorial Run will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2009. Enjoy a day of riding through beautiful southern Indiana and help raise funds to provide scholarships for seminary students in Quito, Ecuador.

See our event on Smaller Indiana.

Anyone interested in adding a donor to your events (silent auctions, raffles), please consider a wine-tasting event - retail value approx. $500.00. I am a licensed wine consultant and LOVE to donate to worthy causes. For more info, go to prpwine.com and/or call Susie at 317-626-3285. I'm already involved with the Eagle Ride in Zionsville and the Zville American Legion Post Riders. Bikers and wine DO go together!!! CHEERS!

Hi, all! Was thrilled to find this group on SI! I've been riding for about 8 years. Sold my cruiser last Fall and am now looking to purchase something small and light that gets uber-gas mileage. Look forward to seeing more about upcoming rides.

My hubby's the marketing manager and rentals manager at Indy West Harley, so if you need any help with Harley issues, let me know.

Thanks for allowing me to join your group. I am new to smaller Indiana but have been riding since the early 80's and am also the founder of the Loop for Life event coming up in mid August which the Police Dept shut down I-465 for us and last year we had just over 3000 riders. Has anyone participated in the Loop over the last 13 years and have any good memories? Ride safe and long.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. "Blatant self-promotion" is discouraged on SI, and "spam" is not welcome. Please be considerate of your fellow members.

Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
