Indiana Filmmakers Network October Networking...
This month's meeting will include a Creature and Special FX Make-up workshop... just in time for Halloween.

Lynette Eklund (Beetlejuice, Species, The Relic, Lost World, Instinct, etc. -She also runs an awesome Corn Maze out in Connersville!) will be talking about creature FX.

David Schlatter (Fire Down Below, The Fresh Air Will Do You Good) will be covering Make-up FX.

This should be a great combination!

As always there will be plenty of time set aside for casual networking.

I am not sure if this is a proper 'comment' if it isn't, I apologize. I just have a 'filmmakery type thing' to post and see if there is any interest.
Since I just moved to the area and have had no luck finding a job just yet (save for The SM for 'Cabaret Poe' Every weekend in October in Irvington! Go see it!)
I am offloading a lot of stuff to help pay the bills.
And sadly, that means I have to part with my beloved video camera.
So to all you Martin Scorsese Spielbergs, it is your lucky day. And mine to lament.

I have a Canon XL1 A (NTSC) Mini DV camera for sale.
Along with it comes a hard case, batteries and more cables than you can possibly use.
It even comes with a manual so you can learn how to use all the fancy features.

Do you have questions? I'm sure you do. I may even be able to answer them.

There is one of these bad boys on sale at Amazon for over $1400.00 I feel that is too much dollars to spend on anything.

However, since I need the money, I am asking $1300 Or best offer.
It's a heck of a deal, and the camera is super nice.

I hope to hear back from you

Message me here. I'll be charging the batteries for you.

Thanks!

Check out the first installment in a short video series about the real faces of the American health care debate. This first one I shot of a 62-year-old man in Evansville, Indiana, who was saddled with a $39,000 hospital bill due to what looks an awful lot like insurance fraud.

View the video, or share stories of your own here. I'm looking for more subjects for this series. So please get in touch if you're interested.

In 1990, I produced a local tv show, "It's My Life" and I am trying to locate 29 actors who were involved in the production. So far I have located 8 of them, as far away as Florida and Montana. I am planning a 20 year reunion and would like to release the "It's My Life" series on You Tube..If you happen to know anyone who was involved, let me know. sandyrusk@netscape.net. I am still looking for:
Katina Colwell (Brook), Bill Greenlee (Robin), Lainie Thomas (Melanie), Mark Ray (Brad), Kelly Myers (Jenni), Charles Guin (Brody), Dallas Radford (Johnny), Amy Bentley (Grace), Eric Castor (Kevin) Amy Wainscott (Dagny), Danielle Mays (Corrine), Kristi Wilkerson (Leslie), Carmen Zambrano (Joanne), Kristine Crabtree (Jackie), Chris Pictor (Josh), April Griffith (Rozy), Derrick Price (Joe), Ann Monahan (Angela), Chris Monahan (Madelyn), Mary Rife (Shelly), Stephen Gibson (Micheal)

...since this was 20 years ago, most of the actors would be in their mid 30's to early 40's.

Alright, I am shooting a music video, and I still need two settings; A classroom with 7-9 yr old students, and a group of police for various shots.

Any ideas for solutions are very welcome here. Thank you ahead of time.

I'm looking for local interview subjects with health care horror stories for a series of video shorts to produce online. Contact me for more details: austinconsidine@gmail.com.

See my website for a sense of who I am, and for my brief bio, which includes work for The New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle and Chicago Sun-Times. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who's got a good story to tell!

If any of them need headshots or advice on headshots, send them up. It would be a great opportunity for them.
