Thought the group might be interested: the Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre will be performing India Ever After this Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. at the Pike Performing Arts Center (PPAC).

Their promotional information says "Featuring all new dance works set to music in Hindi, Tamil, and Teluga. Expertly choreographed in Bollywood style, Bhangra fusion, and more!" It also says food will be available at 6:30 p.m. catered by RUCHI Royal Cuisine of India.

Tickets are $25 and are available by calling PPAC at 317-216-5455 or on their website at www.pikepac.org. It doesn't say if there is an additional charge for the meal...

I love India! I traveled around Rajasthan for two weeks in 2004; went to Jaipur, Jodhpur, Agra, Ranthambore, Chittaurgarh, and Amber. My sister was married in a Sikh ceremony in Ganganagar. I would love to return and travel around the southern part of the country. I was most impressed by the people...such beautiful people!

Thank you for the group invite. I am actually traveling back to India this summer '09 to work on my first feature documentary film where I will be spending most of my focus staying with homeless children and refugees.

I had the opportunity to travel to India to visit a friend last year -- wow, what an experience! I visited Chennai (formerly Madras) for the whole 10 days I was there -- I'd love to make it back to visit other parts of the country.

Thanks for invite PK! I'd love to learn more about the Indian culture. I've actually never had Indian food, and I have been wanting to try it especially since Ben Stiller in my favorite movie, Along Came Polly, is eating it. Educate me please! :)
