Bongies is a great place to eat, no doubt about that. It's located in Perkinsville (Northeast of Cicero) any other places that you know of?

I now have a new purpose in life. Visit all the recommendations! Seriously, all I can say is "which one first?"

I've been enjoying a show on the travel channel called Man v. Food. He's always find some well know and 'hole in the wall' locations.

I live in Cicero, In, any hints as to great places to go without having to drive to downtown Indy?

I anxiously await your responses.

Another suggestion, outside of sushi, is the BBQ place at the Fountain Square Building. Some of us magicians have eaten there and it's rather nice. And if some don't have real jobs to get back to, maybe we can go upstairs and bowl some duckpin?

Oishi Sushi at 10th and Shadeland is in it's first year. It's got great sushi and a 2 or 3 roll lunch special that's really reasonable. Nice people and good service and they need the business. I think it would be a good place to meet at.

I found this great blog that gives insight to some great local places. Check it out...http://indychef.blogspot.com/ They mention in the last entry a cool little Inn just outside of the city that sounds incredible.

Hi!
I'm new to the Smaller Indiana community. Let me invite you to the Indy Winter Farmers Market that is held (indoors) every Saturday morning from 9 am - 12:30 at 25th & Central. If you love good food, you'll find it there. I sell my savory singer-serving pies and there are gourmet tamales, baked goods of all kinds, even some fresh produce (Yes, even in the wintertime. But get there early) Traders Point Creamery is there and there is tea and coffee and soup. You'll love it. Come by and introduce yourself at my booth.

I love a little place up in Carmel called "Brunchies". It is a great place to meet and eat. The owners are friendly, efficient and have a genuine desire to take care of everyone passing through their doors.
