Tie Dye Grill 1311 N Shadeland Ave # B Fish Fry on Fridays!
Andrew Ball Comment by Andrew Ball on November 13, 2009 at 9:41am
We are revisiting the Tie Dye Grill on Friday the 20th at 1:00. It's at either 12th or 13th and Shadeland. East side of Shadeland in a non-descript, 1 story office building. I think next to an insurance agent or attorney.

Being new to the team, I was going to introduce myself but instead am now curious about the Havana Cafe. I'm in Columbus, and I'm thinking it's time for me to consider a road trip to see what this one is all about :)

I was not a big fan of The Havana Cafe either.

We tried The Havana Cafe once but I was not that impressed. Food, service, and cleanliness were sort of mediocre.

A new steakhouse near 30th and Franklin has great food and no decor. Franklin Road Steakhouse doesn't even have doors on the kitchen, yet. Huge portions, beautiful presentations, and reasonable service make it worth the time. It's just white painted walls and really nice tables with great food. Just south of 30th on Franklin on the east side of the street. Open for lunch with the same as the dinner menu only smaller portions.

The first time I went to Havana Café (Moller Rd and 38th St, NE corner), I loved it. The second time, not so much. In fact if my second experience had been my first, I wouldn't have returned, as both food and service were sub-par. Have any of you been there to give a report? I'm trying to decide whether to return.

there is a cute little pub that has food in zionsville called DC pub right near the exit off 334. If anyone is intereseted in having dinner there this week? Also I was told that there is the best pizza place in zionsville of all of Indy there too but not sure what the name is so I'll have to go check it out first.

Since we're talking faves, Oishi Sushi is great at 10th and Shadeland. Yes, a good sushi place on the east side. Who da thunk?
