Hi Thaddeus! I'd be happy to send some information about Indiana Living Green Magazine to you if you like. We'd be a great way for you to showcase your business to a very targeted green market. Please let me know if I can help and welcome to the group!

I'm new also to the site and would like to introduce ourselves to everyone. We are in Brookville IN and are all fired up about our Rainwater Harvesting products that we have just started. Our business has mainly been water gardens, but we have come up with a way to combined both the water garden and water conservation together.

Ethan, were you at Geist Marina's Go Green show this week? They had street approved elecric cars there, which were really cool! They have a real value for many uses!

Hello! I'm also new to the site and wanted to let everybody know what our business is doing to make Indiana greener. We are a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle -NEV- and Solar Electric Vehicle -SNEV- dealer in Marion. We have several plug in vehicles that we sell for both recreational and commercial use. We sell to universities, municipalities, government agencies, and business who want to utilize an electric vehicle in there business. I am always looking for ways to showcase our vehicles so if anybody in this group has any ideas for me, I would love to hear them. Or if you know any organizations that are looking into alternative fueled vehicles, please let me know. I look forward to learning more in this group!

Hello! I'm new to this site. I'm a freelance writer and columnist based in Plymouth, Indiana. While I do copywriting and editing for many types of businesses, my real niche is writing about the environment. I'm a contributing writer to Indiana Living Green Magazine and both my columns deal with the everyday realities of living lightly on the earth (one for my local paper, the Plymouth Pilot, and one for a national publication called The Covenant Companion). Are you a greenie with an interesting story to tell? Do you have a business that's making strides toward sustainability? Contact me! My website is www.wordsmithwriting service.com and my webblog is http://hoosierwordsmith.typepad.com.

Greetings all - need some feedback. Our business has partnered with a few others and the Indiana Dept. of Energy (and Defense...not sure how those got lumped together) in order to provide some public education events. Our first one is scheduled for the last week in March - I'll get you the final date on that soon - and we have a format that I hope will bring people out to learn more about going green. We are going to have folks from many different areas give 10-15 minute talks about solar-thermal, power management, weatherization, lighting, etc. and a rep from the DOE will talk about tax and grant benefits available from the state for these types of projects. Each presenter will have a display table on which he or she can set up anything from their business. People will be free to visit any of these folks for questions regarding their areas of interest and food/drink will be on hand as well. We thought that by keeping the presentations brief and then opening the floor to networking and discussion, more people would come and find out what's up with going green. SO, tell me what you think. I'd like to get feedback from those in the know so that we can get the message out more effectively.Future events are planned that focus on residential applications as well as commercial applications. I look forward to hearing from you.
