An update on Operation"OpenUP!"

I am bubbling over with pride!

On Friday, I sat with a gentleman for 5 hours to get my 501c3 on the road to reality. He's is a "grouping" specialist for the IRS.

Today I spoke with a representative from Putnam Country Comprehensive Services and we have registered with them to employ bonded ex-offenders and receive government assistance in doing so.

Last week, I met with Issac Randolf from the Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives who will be helping OP move forward with serveral programs including ATR Access to Recovery (ATR) which is a joint venture between the Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) and OFBCI.

I am also in negotiations with Page Plus Wireless to further the outreach arms of Operation "OpenUP!" and its clients.

Dianne Brown of the Veteran's Administration has sent out a letter to her clients telling them of the program. As a result, I have a waiting list of about 5 veteran's waiting to receive recycled phones with activations. I am working with a vocational rehabilitation program at the VA on 10th St. in Indianapaolis. As a result of that, we have about 4 on the waiting list. My list of re-entry recipients tops off at about 10. Consequently, we need lot's of phones as our list of prospective recipients is growing daily! For collections, we pay particular attention to CDMA Verizon-based phones and unlocked SIM phones, though we collect them all!

We are looking for businesses, churches and organizations to partner with to partner with for our cell phone outreach program.

God put me on this earth to perform a mission and I am so blessed to be filled with the spirit of fulfilling my task!

We connect people, hence, we open the lines of communications in our community in more ways than one!

TOM WAGENHAUSER LAUNCHES INDY IT PROFESSIONALS
Indy IT Professionals Provides “Everything IT” to Small and Mid-Sized Businesses

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Noblesville, IN, April 27, 2009 – Tom Wagenhauser today announced the launch of Indy IT Professionals. Indy IT Professionals will provide strategic technology services to small and mid-sized businesses.

Focused on providing a single source for all the technology requirements of a business, Indy IT Professionals plans to be a strategic technology business partner. Indy IT Professionals was formed in early 2009 by two colleagues, Tom Wagenhauser and Joshua Myers. Both Wagenhauser and Myers have extensive technology and business consulting experience.

“We realized that many technology consulting companies focus on singular competencies with little regard for the strategic direction of a business,” said Tom Wagenhauser, President of Indy IT Professionals. “As a technology partner, Indy IT Professionals can provide a wide array of technology management services, allowing a business owner to focus on the growth of their business.”

Wagenhauser sees Indy IT Professionals’ success being founded largely on strong, long-term relationships.

“We are building a business that encompasses a unique approach to technology consulting; one that provides Everything IT for businesses. We believe this approach will build the foundation for a long-lasting partnership”

For additional information on Indy IT Professionals, please contact Tom Wagenhauser at (317) 966-3097 or visit www.indyitprofessionals.com.

I had a great day today! It started with some proposal writing, followed by going to lunch with my twins for their 8th birthday, followed by more proposals, and finished with a feeling of satisfaction that I got everything completed today that I needed to.

How was your day?

Lol. Not to mention fellow passengers! ;)

Reiki is the first healing technique I learned and --oh my goodness gravy!-- are there a lot of definitions for it on the Internet. Here's the one that resonates most with me:

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning "Universal Life-Force-Energy". The "Ki" part is the same word as Chi or Qi, the Chinese word for the energy which underlies everything. Reiki is a system for channeling that energy to someone for the purpose of healing.

Very simple, very gentle, very portable! :)

Wow. I don't know what Reiki is, but I'm sure that mothers all around would love to know more...
