VCS has started an outreach program and in the month of June
we are focusing our efforts on raising money to help provide fans
for those in need who don’t have air conditioning during the hot summer months.

To that end we are holding a fundraiser that I think will be VERY easy to swallow!!!

Just take the ticket I have attached to this and have either lunch or dinner
at either UNO Grill in Indianapolis on June 26th.
Uno will donate 20% of your meal to this worthy cause.

We will combine the money generated by this fundraiser with the money we set aside from each Service call VCS performs this month and we hope to reach our goal of $1000.

Please help us reach our goal and enjoy a great meal in the process.

Thanks

Dan

PS make as many copies of this ticket as you want and give them away to friends and family. They can help us too.

Hello, I am new to the group and wanted to introduce myself as well. My name is Toby Reeves, and I am President of Rescott, LLC Marketing & Technology, a small technology innovator in Carmel.

Over the years, we've blended our expertise in I.T. network support with internet solutions. We still provide computer I.T. support to small to medium sized businesses. My main love is developing and implementing brand new solutions to the market.

One such solution I just completed is DoConference.com, a new web based video conferencing platform. It's is expecially ideal for trainers and consultants who conduct webinars online. We are offering a 14 day free trial of DoConference.com to those who are interested.

Last month, we assumed ownership of FishersWorship.com, a Christian worship site for people looking for a church or Christian counseling. I'll be totally revamping the site soon, and would appreciate any insight into what would make the site better.

I look forward to meeting you in future events and online. If I can assist in any way with any of our I.T. and Marketing solutions, I would appreciate the opportunity.

Mark, I'm glad you put this on Smaller Indiana. Did you also start a group in Linked-in? I don't know about everyone else but I have a really hard time keeping up with all the social networks. Although I have joined other groups, I will probably only have time to monitor a couple. I think I may focus on Smaller Indiana, Linked-in and Facebook.

The economy is really out of whack but you don’t need me telling you that.

We all need to pull together to help each other continue to provide the goods and services to the public or it will get worse. In times like these one faction of the economy suffers the most. So I’ve decided that one way Veterans Computer Solutions (VCS) can help is to lend a hand on both sides of the need.

For the next 12 months VCS will provide assistance to the needy thru a program called “Stand Up For America”.
We have chosen 12 different charities and every month we will designate one of the 12 to be the recipient of that month’s donations.
For every hour we bill VCS will donate $10 to a charity or food bank of the month. And as an incentive for our clients to help us help others we are offering 10% off our hourly (non contract) rate and 20% off our monthly contract rate. If the client opts for the contract rate and pays for 12 months in advance I will increase the discount to 25% and let them choose the charity.

We will only make it thru this economic downturn if we work together!!

Thanks

Hi there!

I'm new to the group as well as new to Smaller Indiana. I'm offering bookkeeping services to small businesses who are looking to outsource this area of their business. I'm interested in working with other business owners in the Indianapolis area and am open to making arrangements with anyone in the greater state of Indiana. Step by step I'm getting all the details arranged, but have a rudimentary website that generally covers what I can do: www.indybookkeepers.com.

As a Christian businesswoman (and wife and mother) I hope to meet other Christian business people for advice, encouragement and networking.

I am working on growing the community of Christians in business in Allen County Indiana. Who has good contacts in the Fort Wayne area that I can talk with about bringing our networking events to their area?

OK, it is time to start a major project that God has had on my heart for awhile now. I am looking for some talented people interested in starting a Non-profit orgainization from the ground up. The goals of this organization will be lofty, but achievable with Gods direction.

The plan is to develop a true online community that will grow in capabilities to be a true online community for all christ based denominations. There will be several phases to the development of the web based system.

Initial goals:
1) Online bible studies
2) Online church finder giving details about the church and ability to post sermons and services
3) Youth and Young Adult outreach. So many of the Teens and 20 somethings fall out of Church. This will provide them an online way to stay in a Church, fellowship, and grow.
4) Missions outreach
5) Many other areas to grow this into.

I believe God can grow this project well beyound this as well.

Who I am looking to involve right now, people with non-profit start up experience, Churches, 20 somethings for guidance on best ways to reach their generation, computer minded people to help plan. It is in the very early stages of planning and funding will need to be raised as well.

If you are interested in learning more, please contact me at bgard@performancedrivenllc.com.

I want to set-up a meeting mid to end of June to start kicking this off.

Thanks,

Brian
