Making people and ideas findable

One of my favorite life verses is Galatians 2:20. It is a constant and humbling reminder of my true position in this world, points me to the source of real life and challenges me on the purist form of love. All jammed packed in one little verse.

Great verse - it is the second memorization verse for "The Navigator's" Topical Memory System. One of mine is Ezekiel 5:1 (have you seen my photo) "Now, son of man, take a sharp sword and use it as a barber's razor to shave your head and your beard." Seriously, 2Tim. 2:15 - because I teach AWANA.

I did TMS a long time ago and lost count of the number of times the Holy Spirit has used those verses to my benefit.

Isaiah 6:8.Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

This one explains itself.

John 3:30 "He must increase, but I must decrease." This reminds me of so many things in my Christian walk: more of Jesus, less of me; be a servant to those God brings into my life; let go of my pride... among other thoughts.

Jam 5:12
But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but let your yes be yes, and your no, no; so that you may not fall under judgment.

This is a verse I locked on to when my children were young. It is so important to stand by your word, especially with little ones as they are forming moral values before the age of 4.

Psalm 121
1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

When I am seeking inspiration, I lift my eyes high into the sky and extol the beauty of what God has created. I then begin to think that if He could send his only son to die so that I my life and my existence can benefit others, who am I not to rejoice and continue the mission.

ometimes I forget...and then I remember to apply it to a life situation and it works!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept those things I cannot change,
The Courage to change those that I can,
And,
The Widsom to know the difference.

Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ"

I love it because it gives me hope when I mess up. I am a work in progress!

My favorite verse is Matthew7:7. It show's the power of prayer and how important it is to follow up on our end. We must ask, seek and knock those actions in prayer can lead us to wisdom, and the promises of God.
