I've created a TV channel about Indianapolis directed at hotel guests staying in the area. It encourgaes them to get out of the hotel and explore our great city. I'm looking for content and advertisers. Check out a portion of the show at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7sC8zATGrg. If you have content or want to attract hotel guests let me know.

"To convert (**) or not to convert, that is the question..."

(** Your IRA or 401k to a ROTH IRA)

2010 marks a monumental year for potential tax savings or potential tax catastrophe's with regards to your personal and business retirement plans. Here is a great article featuring answers to 12 frequently asked questions about converting to a Roth IRA:

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/story/print?guid=C5F51A75-2036-45F6-9E23-6AF61DF6768E

Questions like:

When do you pay the taxes?

Can I convert my 401(k) to a Roth IRA?

Can I do a partial conversion?

Can you convert to multiple new Roth IRAs rather than just one?

[Should I] Convert some in 2009?

--- Seriously, this is about to become A BIG DEAL! ---
From the article:
"Roth IRA conversions are about to become a big deal for people saving and investing for retirement. Under the Tax Increase Prevention and Reconciliation Act of 2005, or what some lovingly refer to as TIPRA, all taxpayers will be able to convert all or some of their traditional IRAs into a Roth IRA, regardless of income....

... This is a game-changer, some are saying ...and [potentially] the opportunity of a lifetime -- the chance to pay taxes now as a way to avoid paying more taxes later. "

Please feel free to call or email me if I can help you or someone you care about sort out their situation and take advantage of this limited time opportunity.

Make it a GREAT DAY!

Hello to the group of small biz owners like myself!
I am intrigued at the variety of types of businesses in this group and I am looking forward to learning from a lot of you. My company is mobelwerks, inc, which is a family owned custom cabinet /millwork /furniture company on the NW side of Indianapolis. We can take our clients from design conception through fabrication within our facility on Guion Road. We also love working with designers and architects on their furniture designs and helping them to bring their designs to reality. I have a slideshow of images of our past work on my page and you can see more on our website, www.mobelwerks.biz. BTW, mobel is the German word for furniture...yes, we are a German family business. My father learned his trade as an apprentice in Germany when he was a teenager and passed the trade on to his children.

Machelle,
Welcome!
There are a hundred or more networking opportunities out there today.

Smaller Indiana, LinkedIn, Rainmakers (www.gorainmakers.com), BNI, NAG (www.nag-castleton.ning.com), Confluence (www.indyconfluence.com)...all good places to start. Every chamber of commerce has networking--Fishers, Carmel, Indianapolis, Zionsville, Greenwood, etc., so look at your preferred geography and get their information.

One thing to look at is how to measure and know which groups to keep and which to move out of your schedule. Here's an article about that process as your schedule starts to fill: When to Dump a Networking Group

What are some of your best networking avenues? I just joined this group and am trying to do more out in the community. My business is Solutions Home Staffing, and I place domestic staff such as personal assistants, house managers and nannies for individuals and families.

Hello all! I just wanted to let everyone know that I just posted a free 11 page report titled "How the Internet Can Kill Your Business", which is available for download at our squeeze page... http://www.internet4execs.com.

Among other tidbits, I identify the universal misconception business owners have about their marketing, 3 effective ways to attract your clients, and why Google advertising might not work for you.

I do ask for your contact information, but I hate spam as much as you do. I do not sell lists, so your information will be safe with me.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding the report, contact me at Rescott, LLC Marketing & Technology (317) 816-0700.
