Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

WE are looking for a honest supplier of used commercial kitchen and other restaurant supplies. We are starting a coffeehouse in the near future and would like to start gathering our equipment now. If you know of one, we would appreciate you sharing the information.

Shari, have you thought of buying from auctions? There are a lot of restaurants going out of business and you could probably get the right equipment for cheap.

Tom, I would love to check out the auctions or restaurants that are going out. I do not live in Indy and do not know when these take place. If you have suggestions on these, please forward the information.

Shari,
If you have identified any consumables suppliers in the city you are going to be in, ask them for names of their clients that are closing. They can probably also talk with you about the servicability of the equipment.

Picked up the Sunday paper and will start watching for an auction to start with. If you hear of a really good one. We would love to know. Thanks!

Do yourself a favor and be sure to check out what Richard Green offers at 317-972-0941. He's also known as the "Peanut King" and has been in business over 50 years at 1827 S. Meridian St. in the city. He's really good people and has lots and lots of used restaurant equipment. Honest and reasonable too.
