BSU '89. It's come full circle... My daughter just received her acceptance letter at BSU and will be attending in the fall. Whew! Remember when the scramble light really was a scramble? Or the cow path was polished ice in the winter? But I digress. If you haven't been back to campus in a while.... DO VISIT!! Boy are you up for some surprises!!

Alright Fellow Fighting Cards....tomorrow is the last game of the regular season...as you may know the BSU Football team is ranked 15 in each of the major polls and looks to close out a perfect regular season (12-0). Game starts at 7. Sure its on ESPN 2 but its so much better in person. Lets help close out the best season in the history of Ball State.

If you haven’t done so already, please register for the 45th SERC Showcase, which will be held at Ball State University in Muncie, IN on November 19-20, 2008. You can register at www.serc.net. An agenda is now posted.



A local hotel offering good rates for SERC participants is the Fairfield Inn, Marriott 4011 W Bethel Ave, Muncie, IN 47304, (765) 282-6666. However, the hotel is only holding a block of rooms for SERC until TODAY, Monday, November 3. So please reserve your room and identify yourself as part of the SERC group when you call.

For anyone that is interested, a group of BSU alumni are gathering at the Ale Emporium in Castleton to watch the BSU vs. IU Football game (9/20).

All right my husband got me to sign up for this, so hopefully I'll be able to connect with some BSU alumni so that you too can enjoy our local social alumni events! We (BSU Alumni Association) have a cocktail/wine tasting coming up next Thursday evening, and I'd love to see some new faces. Here are the details:
