Introduction

Scott Baldwin is a native resident of Noblesville, Indiana. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, worked as an instructor for the Indiana Department of Corrections Special Emergency Response Team, and served with the Indianapolis Police Department in a variety of capacities. Scott was a uniformed patrolman, a field training officer, a uniformed street sergeant, an undercover narcotics detective, a narcotics unit supervisor, a homicide unit supervisor, and a Metro Drug Task Force unit supervisor. He has since been volunteering his time in the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office as a detective in the Special Task Team. Scott and his brothers are partners in a commercial and residential real estate brokerage firm which employs over 50 professionals in Hamilton County. Scott’s goals as your Sheriff are to use his law enforcement and business management experience to help guide the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and to better connect law enforcement officers with their roots as public servants.
