Take a look at: Vontoo (www.vontoo.com, FormSpring (www.formspring.com, and DealerFlow (www.dealerflow.com) – All great local companies that have the potential to turn into something really special.

I would add Interactions (http://web.interactions.net/) and BlueLock (http://www.bluelock.com/) to the list. If you like Vontoo, check out Shoutnow as well (http://shoutnow.com/). They are a simpler and much more affordable.

Of all the local start ups I think Form Spring, Vontoo and ChaCha have the most potential in terms of market and ability to scale to meet that market. ChaCha needs to get their version of AdWords rolling to be viable. FormSpring needs to continue building on their platform and Vontoo seems to be doing well from what I've seen.
