Hey, Jon, thanks for the speech. I haven't seen the movie in a few years. But being a Realtor - I
LOVE that speech. You know prior to WWII, people had to pay cash for homes/ were no mortgages - imagine! Maybe your Dad knows when that changed. How about this one:
"Remember, no man is a failure who has friends."

Bartender (in an angry, irritated, impatient tone, as best as I recall): We serve hard liquor to men who want to get drunk and want to get drunk fast! You two pixies are out of here!

The Outlaw Josey Wales. Just about every line in the movie.

"I didn't surrender, but they took my horse and made him surrender. They have him pulling a wagon up in Kansas I bet. "

Senator: The war's over. Our side won the war. Now we must busy ourselves winning the peace. And Fletcher, there's an old saying: To the victors belong the spoils.
Fletcher: There's another old saying, Senator: Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.

Bounty hunter #1: You're wanted, Wales.
Josey Wales: Reckon I'm right popular. You a bounty hunter?
Bounty hunter #1: A man's got to do something for a living these days.
Josey Wales: Dyin' ain't much of a living, boy.

For me it's a toss-up of two lines. I love the way he delivers the line, "Hot dog! A million dollars!" when wishing at the store and of course, the big scene of him running down the street, deliriously happy after Clarence has helped him. It's funny, when I hear ppl yell "Merry Christmas" to one another, I still hear ol' George Bailey hollering, "Merry Christmas, you old Savings and Loan!"

It has a lot of great lines. I like Zoozoo, though, especially when she tells George to paste the petals back on her flower. Oh, and when they sing "Buffalo Gals."
